Back in 2023, NPR quit Twitter because Elon Musk slapped the label of \u201cgovernment-funded media.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>Naturally, the dolts at NPR wadded up their panties saying the label was inaccurate and misleading, because  NPR is a private, nonprofit company with \u201ceditorial independence.\u201d  <\/em><\/strong>They said NPR receives less than 1 percent of its $300 million annual budget from the \u201cfederally funded Corporation for Public Broadcasting.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
